Beauty Pageant? Yeah seriously.

Soo I bet no one will believe this haha. But I'm in a pageant! Yeah really. It's the Miss Greenbelt Pageant in Greenbelt, Maryland.

At the end of last school year I saw posters for applicants around school so I thought it would be amusing if I applied- seeing as I am NO beauty queen. But you know what? It's actually turned out to be a great experience.

It's not your stereotypical beauty pageant, it's actually a scholarship pageant. It's based alot on academics, NOT who is the prettiest girl.

It's actually been really fun and I think I'm doing fairly well in the running, seeing as I have no pageant experience whatsoever.

Crowning night is this Sunday (Sept 6th) and I'm super excited! Wish me luck! =)

(They took this really great photo of me for the pageant ohmahgawd I love their photographer because he's the first person in forever to take a good photo of me. :O I'm putting it as my ID right now haha.)
